MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. —



One person was transported by medical helicopter after a crash in Moundsville on Friday.

The crash happened just after noon on Roberts Ridge Road. Officials said the man tried to make a turn when his flatbed truck flipped on its side.

Crews were able to free the man from the vehicle. The extent of his injuries had not been released as of 4:10 p.m.

Marshall County sheriff's officials, Moundsville and Roberts Ridge volunteer firefighters, Tri-State EMS and West Virginia Division of Highways crews responded to the crash.
