BREAKING NEWS: MITTAL ELIMINATING 800 JOBS

The hot end of the local plant will not go back online. This means approximately 800 jobs will be eliminated. All of this is according to Brian James, plant manager at Mittal's Weirton plant. James tells us as of right now, there are no plans in the near future to put the hot end online. He says he does feel optimistic that the plant will survive. He also says the tin operations at the plant are looking good and that is where they are focusing the future of the plant.
