Bridge Project Causes Traffic Problems In Weirton

Related

A construction project is moving along in Weirton -- but not without its detours.

The Department of Highways is in the process of building a five-lane bridge at the Three Springs Drive exit.

Wednesday, the on-ramp to Route 22 westbound was closed at Three Springs Drive. Drivers must go to the Colliers Way exit and loop back around to get on Route 22.

Officials from the Department of Highways said they expect the on-ramp to Route 22 west to reopen either Monday or Tuesday of next week.
