Broken Water Line Damages New Brooke County Animal Shelter

Water lines are causing construction troubles at a new animal shelter in Brooke County.

Commissioner Bernie Kozienko said a water line broke overnight, causing flooding and some damage.

There was no word Wednesday on how much repairs will cost.

The new $272,000 animal shelter is being built at the Old Winsor Coal site in Beech Bottom.
