Burglaries continue in Newell

By NEWS9

HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. —

A rash of break-ins in Newell, Hancock County, now includes the old concession stand and press box at Newell Memorial Field.

Sheriff Ralph Fletcher said that deputies found the locks cut and doors pushed in on Thursday.

Fletcher said the areas appear to be used as a place to gather and do drugs, based on drug paraphernalia found in the press box.

Fletcher said investigators have no leads.
