Bus Driver Accused Of Showing Student Inappropriate Picture Resigns

A Belmont County school bus driver accused of showing an inappropriate picture to a high school student has resigned.

The Bellaire Local Schools superintendent said the Board of Education accepted the bus driver's letter of resignation during a special meeting on Wednesday.

School officials called the Belmont County Child Services after a family member of the student reported possible wrongdoing last week.

The case is now being reviewed by the county prosecutor's office, said Superintendent Tony Scott.
