Businesses Get Ready for Super 6 Weekend

This weekend high school football teams from West Virginia will give their best to bring home the state championship in their division.

Terry Sterling with the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce said, "This is a great event. All six teams will be here competing for state championships for triple A, double A, and single A.

It's also a time when businesses can take advantage of the thousands of visitors who plan on stopping in Wheeling.

Frank O'Brien with the Wheeling Convention and Visitor's Bureau said, "We've received hundreds of calls from potentially thousands of visitors who are on their way here for the Super 6."

O'Brien said vistors plan on spending more than over $1 million.

Some hotels in the Wheeling area are aleady booked. The Hampton Inn off of National Road and the Mcclure Hotel downtown Wheeling is sold out for this weekend.
