BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio --

Police said a car crash in Belmont County injured two people Wednesday morning.

The accident happened around 8:40 A.M. where state route 7 runs into interstate 470.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said a semi-truck was stopped on the exit ramp on State Route 70 when a Ford Escape came off Interstate 470, crossed the grass median and stuck the semi-truck on its left side.

Troopers said the driver of the Escape, Richard Gibson, along with the passenger, Robert Gibson, who is believe to be Richard Gibson’s father, were transported to Medical Park with serious injuries.
