POWHATAN POINT, Ohio---
One person was transported the hospital as a result of a one-car crash.
Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded around 1 a.m. to State Route 7 near mile post 4, just North of Powhatan Point.
Troopers said the driver was traveling southbound, went off the right side of the road and hit the concrete barrier.
The passenger was transported to Wheeling Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver will be cited with failure to control, troopers said.
