Case dismissed against 2 charged with animal abuse at Belmont Co. facility

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio —




The case against two people accused in connection with an animal abuse case has been dropped.

Court officials in Belmont County said charges against Carmen Wallace and her husband, Christopher, were dismissed.

The charges stemmed from alleged animal abuse case at the Four Paws Animal Rescue in Neffs.

The facility was raided in October 2011 and, at that time, caretaker Carmen Wallace was taken away in handcuffs.
