Cedar Point Cutting Costs

Cedar Point will lower its admission prices for the 2006 season.

Officials at the Sandusky-based amusement park say next summer, a regular one-day ticket will cost a little under forty dollars.

That's down five dollars from this year.

A park spokesman says Cedar Point has had a few years of "soft" attendance and is trying to make the park more affordable to consumers who are being squeezed by high gasoline prices.
