JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio —
Charges are expected to be filed today after Smithfield police said three officers had to be treated when they responded to a fight Saturday night in Dillonvale.
Not much about the incident was released as of noon Monday, but officials said two of the officers were from Smithfield and another is from Dillonvale.
Police said the incident started at the Eagles Club on Liberty Street, where officers were responding to a fight. That incident led officers to a home on Union Street in Mount Pleasant.
Officials said everyone involved is now OK.
