Officers in Jefferson County were busy overnight after a domestic dispute turned into much more.
Toronto Police say Jeffery Emery took his wife and her two children hostage and took off from Mingo Junction down Route 7 towards Toronto.
When he got to an apartment building in Toronto, police say he hit an officer before he was taken into custody.
No one was injured during the incident.
Emery is being held in the Jefferson County Jail, and multiple charges against him are pending this morning.
