JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio---
A Chicago man arrested in Steubenville is now behind bars in Jefferson County facing a number of charges.
Steubenville police pulled a truck over along Belleview Boulevard and Euclid Avenue. Officials said, at that time, the passenger of the vehicle, 27-year-old Sidney Watson from Chicago, got out of the truck and ran from
police. During a foot chase, police said Watson dropped a gun he was carrying. He is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a number of charges including weapons under disability, fugitive from justice, tampering with evidence and falsification.
He was also wanted on four bench warrants.

Watson appeared in court this morning and is being held on no bond. His preliminary hearing is set for early next week.
