MARTINS FERRY, OH —
A local child is rushed to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after an accident at a construction site.
The accident happened in Martins Ferry.
According to paramedics, an 11 year old boy was inside a home being built in Hillendale Estates. He somehow fell through a hole on the first floor of the unfinished home and landed in the basement.
Paramedics say it was a fall of about ten feet. There is no word on the boy's condition, but EMTs say the injuries were not life threatening.
