BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio —
A man facing nearly a dozen counts of rape charges jumped off a bridge days after he was released on bond.
Richard Hart, 48, is charged with 10 counts of raping underage children. While free on bond Tuesday, Hart jumped off a 45-foot bridge near Morristown.
Hart was airlifted by medical helicopter and suffered two broken legs, officials said.
Sheriff Fred Thompson said Hart was arrested and booked into the Belmont County Jail last Friday and his bond was set at $200,000. He bonded out on Saturday.
