 ZANESVILLE, Ohio --

Denver Broncos star quarterback Tim Tebow is in demand for Christian audiences in Ohio.

A church youth ministry program is raising money in hopes of landing Tebow to speak at an annual faith-based event in Zanesville, Muskingum County.

According to The Associated Press, youth pastor Adam King with New Hope Gospel Church said an announcement was made at Sunday services, and thousands of dollars was already donated by Sunday night.

A flyer says the goal is to raise $50,000 to have Tebow appear at the event "The Restoration" on March 2.

In the meantime multiple media outlets have reported that Tebow has committed to come to Ohio Christian University in Circleville for a leadership forum on April 24.
