BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio --
A tractor-trailer crashed into a Belmont County home on Wednesday, knocking the home off its foundation.
The truck collided with a car, then crashed into a home on state Route 331 around 9 a.m.
No one involved suffered life-threatening injuries, officials said.
"The young lady that was driving the car was transported to the hospital; she may have a broken leg. The truck driver is fine. The couple [of] people that were in the house, they're not seriously injured -- just minor bruises," said Ohio State Highway Patrol Sgt. James Faunda.
Officials said the truck was heading south and the car was headed north. The car slowed down to make a left turn onto a side street and turned into the path of the tractor-trailer. The truck driver tried to swerve off the road to avoid a crash and plowed into the home.
The house was shifted at least a foot off its foundation during the impact. As of noon, crews were working to remove the truck from the house little by little, which fire officials said will be no easy task.
Emergency crews from the Cumberland Trail Fire Department, Lafferty Volunteer Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded.
