Columbiana Co. woman pleads guilty to dropping toddler from 3rd-story window

By The Associated Press

NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. —

A Columbiana County woman charged with dropping her friend's toddler out a third-story apartment window has entered a guilty plea.

Terra Jean Hill, 28, of East Liverpool, was charged with aggravated assault and other crimes for dropping Alizae Mosconi in New Brighton, Pa., on Aug. 25.

Hill pleaded guilty to one charge of aggravated assault and prosecutors agreed to drop other charges.

Authorities say Hill dangled the 23-month-old out the window to "teach her a lesson" for throwing a ball at Hill's face and then dropped the child, who suffered a skull fracture, a dislocated elbow and two broken arms.

The girl has undergone physical therapy and was released from the hospital in September.

Sentencing has been set for May 2. Hill is being held in Beaver County Prison.
