Commissioner Pleads Not Guilty To Battery

MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. —

Marshall County Commissioner Jake Padlow pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to a charge stemming from allegations that he beat another man.

Padlow entered the plea before Magistrate William Anderson in Marshall County.

Padlow and another man are accused of beating up a third person in McMechen earlier this month.

Marshall County Prosecutor Jeff Cramer recused his office from the case. A special prosecutor has not been assigned yet.
