Marlene Smith was found guilty of the murder last year.
This week a jury will hear from two new witnesses to determine if Main lied during the murder trial and if he was involved in a cover-up at the crime scene.
The trial started on Tuesday, but the only witness that took the stand was Marlene Smith, asking she be allowed her constitutional right not to speak at the trial in fear it may incriminate her.
