JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio --
Police were unable to locate a driver who fled from officers Friday morning. Officers suspect the person was in a stolen truck when they took chase through parts of Columbiana and Jefferson counties.
The pursuit began near Lisbon and crossed in northern Jefferson County, in an area known as The Pits.
Officers recovered the vehicle in the area of Dry Run road in Saline Township, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
