BYESVILLE, Ohio —


Officials are searching for two armed men who robbed a Guernsey County store early Friday.

Sheriff Michael R. McCauley said the Circle K on Main Street in Byesville was robbed around 1 a.m.

McCauley said one of the men was armed with a gun, and the other was armed with a knife.  No injuries were reported.

The robbers forced the attendant to give them an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, then ran away. It is not known in which direction they ran.


Surveillance video captured images of the robbers. Officials said they have suspects in mind but had not released their names as of noon.
