EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio —

Officials have identified a man found dead along the Ohio River banks on Monday as 64-year-old Zane Farmer.

Investigators said they believe Farmer fell from a bridge.

Two men fishing on a boat saw the body around 12:30 p.m. near Leonard Street and called police.

The victim did not have any identification and officials said it appeared his body was there for at least a couple of weeks.

East Liverpool city police dispatchers said the body was transported to the Columbiana County coroner on Monday. An autopsy is expected to take about six weeks. Officials said it's too early to tell if there was any foul play.
