WHEELING, W.Va. —
A man who was reported missing was found dead Friday under a Wheeling bridge by a friend of his.
The body of the man was found under the Shilling Bridge in Elm Grove around 11:30 a.m.
Police said they believe the man was from Wheeling, and they met with the man's family members to file a missing persons report. Soon after, his friend who was out looking for him found the man's body.
The man was last seen Thursday morning at a local bar, and officials said it was not clear how long his body had been under the bridge.
