PITTSBURGH, Pa. —

A pig wearing a scarf navigated rush-hour traffic and safely crossed the Parkway West in Pittsburgh before disappearing into the woods this morning, state police said.

Multiple motorists called to report that a baby pig sporting a scarf was trying to cross the inbound lanes of the Parkway West, or Interstate 376, about a mile before the Green Tree exit around 8:30 a.m. Some motorists pulled off the parkway to take pictures, police said.

No one was hurt and when state police arrived, the pig already had crossed over a guard rail and was in the woods, police said.

State troopers were able to spot the pig, but couldn't catch up to it.
