OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. --
Seven people have applied to become the next Superintendent of Ohio County Schools according to board presidnet Erik Schramm.
The deadline to apply for the position is Monday, Dec. 12.
Schramm said that no decision will be made as to who will be the next superintendent until after the new year.
Candidate interviews will begin Jan. 7.
Current Superintendent George Krelis is planning on retiring June 30, 2012.
