MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. --

A reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a Marshall County man accused of sexually abusing two teenage girls.

John Tedrow, 32, of Moundsville, is wanted on two counts of unlawfully engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor, two counts of sexual assault with a minor and three counts of producing child pornography.

Authorities said the last three counts stem from an accusation that Tedrow made a video of at least one of the assaults.

Tedrow is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 240 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Officials also said Tedrow has an identical twin brother, and police hope to avoid any confusion about possible leads to their suspect.

Police said the men are identical except their tattoos are different. The suspect has a tattoo that looks like flames on his left arm. On his left forearm, he has birds and a sun tattooed.

Officials said information about the alleged abuse was given to police by friends of Tedrow's.

Earlier this week, several people who know Tedrow would not speak on camera with NEWS9, saying they feared retaliation if they spoke publically about the sex charges Tedrow faces.

Moundville police and the Mountain State Fugitive Task Force spent Monday following leads, with no success. Officials said they checked several places in Marshall County and received information that he may be in Ohio.

Officials said they also have information that Tedrow may on the run with a gun and are considering him armed and dangerous.

Moundville police detective Keith McCallen said, "He's a predator and we need to catch him."

They said Tedrow was previously arrested on public intoxication charges, but nothing as serious as the charges he now faces.

Investigators said they hope the public will be able to help lead them to Tedrow. Anyone who has information on Tedrow 's whereabouts is asked to call police or the NEWS9 Lauttamus Security Crimebusters Tipline at 800-862-BUST.
