Former Noble Co. middle school teacher found not guilty of sex crimes

A former Shenandoah Middle School teacher has been acquitted of sex-related charges filed against him earlier this year.

Officials said 37-year-old Steven Wentworth, of Pleasant City, was found not guilty of three counts of gross sexual imposition of a minor and four counts of sexual imposition following a jury trial in the Noble County Common Pleas Court this week.

Wentworth is a former intervention specialist with the Noble Local School District.
