Grow sites busted in Belmont County

BELMONT COUNTY, Oh. – The Belmont County Marijuana Eradication Unit uncovered two marijuana grow sites on Tuesday, according to Sgt. Tom DeVaul of the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office.

 

                DeVaul said that grow sites were uncovered in Bethesda and in Bellaire.

 

                Deputies found 26 plants at the site in Bethesda, according to DeVaul who also said that one arrest is pending.

 

                In Bellaire, Devaul said the eradication unit found 170 plants at one site. No arrests were made in connection to that bust. However, DeVaul said the investigation is still active.
