GUERNSEY COUNTY, Ohio —

Guernsey County Sheriff Mike McCauley said Wednesday that detectives are following up on many leads in a double homicide that occurred over the weekend.

Early Sunday, officials found 31-year-old Christopher Morrison dead and 25-year-old Justain Nelson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the Coventry Estates.

Nelson was transported to a hospital, where he later died.

This is the county's first double-homicide in decades, officials said.
