Harrison Central Vs Buckeye Local - Game Of The Week Preview

The 4 and 2 Harrison Central Huskies will be gunning for a third straight win when they travel to 2 and 4 Buckeye Local on Friday night in the WTOV9 High School Football Game Of The Week. Harrison downed Bellaire 41-20 on Saturday rolling up 296 yards rushing in the win. Ivan Woodward returned a fumble for a touchdown against Bellaire, he entered the game as Harrison's sack leader with six. Wes Skinner set up the Huskies first touchdown by returning an interception to the Big Reds 1 yard line. Justin Valentine, Robbie Davia and Taylor Banks scored rushing touchdowns in the win. Harrison features a balanced attack with running backs Taylor Banks, and Wes Skinner each with over 500 yards rushing on the season while quarterback Robbie Davia has thrown for over 600 yards and six touchdowns.

Buckeye Local head coach Ron Pobolish returned to guide the Panthers two seasons ago after spending two years as the head coach at Harrison Central. Buckeye rebounced from a one point loss to Indian Creek with a 40-3 win over Oak Glen on Friday night. The Panthers rushed for over 400 yards in the win led by Danny Peddicord's 145 yards and two tochdowns while Spencer McKim added 127 yards and a touchdown. Buckeye completed one pass in the win, a 33 yard touchdown from Bobby Spence to Isaac Omaits.
