Harrison Central's new principal says school is on its way to being fully accredited

By NEWS9

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio —

The Harrison Hills School District has a new administrative leader in place, and a plan is under way to make the high school fully accredited.

Duran Morgan took over the role as Harrison Central Junior/Senior High School principal just over a week ago.

Duran said he and other staff members have been working on a plan to become a fully accredited high school, and that plan has been implemented.

"We worked with a group of staff members (and) faculty members in becoming a fully accredited high school, which gave us basically a five-year plan for improvement in the high school and we're ready to go," Morgan said.

Morgan was also a government teacher in the district for eight years and was most recently the dean of students for grades 10 through 12 before taking over his new role.
