Parent volunteers are helping the American Red Cross coordinate the blood drive at the Simpson United Methodist Church.
The blood drive will take place until 4 p.m.
Each year, the Head Start program chooses different volunteer community projects to participate in.
Organizers said the goal for the drive is 35 units of blood.
