Indian Creek School District leasing former school for businesses

By NEWS9

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio —

Instead of students at Bantam Ridge Elementary, businesses will be moving in this fall.

As a part of the Indian Creek School District's deficit-reduction plan, the elementary students were moved to Wintersville Elementary this year.

To help offset the costs of administration staying in the building, the district leased the space to several county offices including the Soil and Water Department, the Farm Bureau and the Community Action Council's Head Start Program.

The organizations are set to move in on Oct. 1.
