Irondale Residents Upset Over Stinky Situation

IRONDALE, Ohio —

Irate Ironadle residents showed up at the village council meeting Monday night to voice their concerns over a stinky situation.

Residents said for two years now, they've been dealing with a stench and gray water seeping into their homes because of a clogged drain.

Sheila Poole was one of the residents.

"It’s atrocious. You wouldn't want your kids out there playing. I have a little 2-month-old granddaughter. I love to take her out onto the porch, but I'm afraid to," said Poole.

The mayor told NEWS9 he plans to contact the Environmental Protection Agency again. Council members said they plan to schedule a meeting with the EPA in Cambridge.
