West Virginia bankruptcy court judge Edward Friend today has
approved the sale of Weirton Steel Corporation to International
Steel Group.
Judge L- Edward Friend the Second says he approved the 237-million dollar sale because the company can no longer survive on its own.
There will be a 10 day waiting period before the final sale.
