The JB Green Team has announced that it is looking at the possibility of filing a civil lawsuit against the Apex Landfill.
The announcement was made following the group's meeting in Steubenville on Monday night.
Members had a discussion about what to do with Apex during an hourlong executive session. Board Chairman Bob Chapman says Apex is $394,000 behind in its payments and as a result is in default.
Chapman says the group has no choice but to seek legal action because it needs the money to operate.
