The JB Green Team Belmont office has announced a new schedule for the electronics recycling drop-off program.

Beginning December 5, 2012, the electronic recycling drop-off location at Belco Works will change from a weekly to a monthly drop-off.

“Initially we had a strong turnout for the recycling program, explained Tammy Shepherd, JB Green Team Belmont Director, “but with more electronics stores offering take back opportunities and ERS opening in Bellaire, we decided it was time to pare down our collection program.”

Residents may continue to use the current Belco Works drop-off location at Fox-Shannon Place during the 2^nd week each month. Hours will be from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday and  Saturday.

 “We really appreciate our partnership with Belco Works on this project”, said Shepherd. “The electronics recycling crew are a great assistance and always more than happy to unload the items for you.”
