Jefferson County Man Accused Of Attacking Wife, Baby

A Cross Creek Township man is accused of attacking his wife and infant daughter and pointing a gun at police.

Several charges are expected to be filed against 26 year-old Michael Moore.

Police said they responded to a domestic violence call around 10 p.m. Friday.

Police Chief Mike Maguschank said Moore pointed a gun at police and they shocked him with a taser.

Authorities say Moore, his wife, and five month old baby girl were treated and released for injuries at a local hospital.

Maguschak said charges against Moore could range from domestic violence and resisting arrest to child endangering.
