Kids Experimenting With Alcohol As Early As Fourth Grade

Some children are experimenting with alcohol as early as the fourth grade, a new study from the University of Pittsburgh found.

In a review of surveys conducted over the past 15 years, researchers found 10 percent of fourth graders reported taking more than a sip of alcohol and 7 percent had consumed an entire drink in the previous year.

Those numbers doubled between the fourth and sixth grade.

Survey: Do you think alcohol education should be offered as early as fourth grade?
