WEIRTON, W.Va. —
Local emergency responders are showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On Tuesday, member of the Weirton Area Ambulance & Rescue Squad, the Weirton Fire Department and STAT MedEvac showed they cared by wearing pink.
October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and participants said they hope their small gesture will support those who are battling the disease, have battled the disease and those who have died from breast cancer.
