Missing man found safe in Steubenville

BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va.

The Emergency Management Agency director in Brooke County said a man who went missing Thursday afternoon was found in Steubenville.

Investigators believe 51-year-old Michael McConnell went missing between 2 and 4 p.m. He was last seen in the Cross Creek area of the county.

  EMA Director Bob Fowler said he has the mental capacity of a juvenile and they were concerned about his well-being.

It was still unclear Saturday how or where McConnell was found.
