WEIRTON, W.Va. –
The American Veterans Post 275 out of Steubenville received a donation of more than $2,000 because of a fundraiser by the National Gold and Silver Refinery.
Officers from the post accepted the donation on Friday at the Holiday Inn in Weirton.
Officials with the National Gold and Silver Refinery said the money could be used for anything and was not earmarked.
