County department asks for more money, citing gas drilling

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio --

The Harrison County Commission is reviewing budget proposals from county departments and one department is sticking out.

The recorders office is requesting about a 60 percent increase in its budgeting, citing an increase in work related to natural gas drilling throughout the county.

No final decision have been made on budget requests.
