Family offers second reward to help solve homicide investigation

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio

"The family of 71-year-old Gerald Klusch is offering a $20,000 reward for reliable, new information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his shooting death.

The family made the announcement during a news conference on Wednesday.

This is the second reward offered by the family. The previous was also a $20,000 reward for information that led to the discovery of Klusch's body. A tip did help investigators find his remains.

Klusch went missing in September 2011. A day after investigators found his pickup truck with blood inside.

It was then seven weeks later that his body was found. Officers also found his wallet and clothes nearby. He had two gunshot wounds to his head.

Klusch's widow spoke today about the last time she saw him.

"We had breakfast together that morning and then I left for work, and he stayed on the farm," said Leah Klusch.

She added, "He was a very quiet man. He had very stable routines, so when this happened it was totally different and out of the ordinary."
