The Harrison County Sheriff's Office said the state fire marshal will investigate an early-morning fire that broke out on Tuesday.
Officials said several fire crews responded to an abandoned motel in Cadiz to put out the blaze around 3:30 am. The motel is located near old U.S. Route 22. Officials said it has been abandoned for 30-40 years.
