BLAINE, Ohio--
Multiple Belmont County firefighters from several volunteer departments worked to put of flames at a house that caught fire on Handel Road in Blaine Sunday afternoon.
Several calls came into the 911 center around 3:45 p.m. that the house was on fire.
Firefighters on the scene said that they believe the fire started in the basement then spread. No one was home at the time and no one was injured.
A cause is unknown at this time. The Ohio State Fire Marshal's office will investigate Monday.
