Man Faces Possible Robbery, Theft Charges

By NEWS9

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio —

A Tuscarawas County man is set to be charged with robbery and felony theft in connection with the robbery of an elderly man.

According to news partners at The Times-Reporter, Ross Best III of Uhrichsville is being held in the Tuscarawas County Jail. Allegedly, Best asked an elderly man if he could have written permission to hunt on his property. The man invited him in to give him the note, and that's when officers say Best pushed the man against a wall, and stole his wallet.

Best is facing a felony charge because the wallet had credit cards inside.
