By Alex Koscevic

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio --

A plane crash in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, resulted in one death. The crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. Friday on Indian Run Road in Imperial Township, and officials said there wasn't much left of the plane when they got to the scene.

"There was a debris fieldĀ with one victim that was involved, and right now that's pending investigation until the FAA arrives on scene," said Sergeant Rick Menges of Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The plane is a 2009 Cirrus SR-22 single-engine aircraft, and it is registered to Photopheresis Inc., a medical center in Morristown, N.J.

The pilot, 59-year-old Emil Bisacciao of New Jersey, was believed to be killed on impact. He was flying from New Jersey to the Ohio University airport in Columbus.

The debris from the crash were spread in a 100-yad span, and officials said no one else was hurt by the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration is now en route to the crash scene. In the meantime, police remain on the scene until the wreckage is cleaned up and taken to a hangar.
